Aksara Tasa

Aksara Tasa is in love and lost in the world of words, as much as it has become the place to visit daily. He always manages to put some books into his bag, at least to feel secured.

For a number of years which he can not recall, he’s been living life in search of its meaning. It all started when he was hit in the head by a certain book.

Due to his personal history, he chooses mostly to read translated books. So often he is called uptight when he is actually very loose in other aspects.

He considers books his true friends. Friends who do not talk much and friends whom he can choose not to listen to only by putting them down and turning his face elsewhere.

Even though, sometimes he cannot remember the detail of the stories for he would drift away between the lines, he can always recall every detail of his feeling while reading them.

He reads as much as fate would allow, for he believes, “A book chooses its readers.” Amazingly, coincidence always occurs in the right place and at the right time.

Aksara Tasa (meaning the slave of words), still gets drowned in the ocean of ink day after day.
